The following was taken from the Yorkshire Regiment website

Died 31 Aug 1918 aged 40. Husband of Ada Emily Donnelly of 5 Carlton Terrace, Yarm who died in 1931 at Stockton & Thornaby Hospital, aged 45. He had been born at Prescot, Lancs and enlisted at Middlesbrough. Wavans Brit Cem, France
Ada Emily Johnson, born 1886, married Robert Donnelly at St paul's Church in Middlesbrough on Christmas Eve 1904. She lived in Carlton Terrace in Yarm and they moved to a 4 room house in 25 Kildare Street in Middlesbrough where he worked as a bricklayer's labourer. He is recorded as having died of dysentary due to military operation. William signed up in Middlesbrough on 16 November 1914, the family had moved to 65 Birks Street Middlesbrough. He joined the expeditionary force to France on 3 September 1915. His son Herbert Henry Donnelly was born on 28 April 1915. His army record indicates he had three regimental numbers 1606, 53149 and 137479. Before marrying Robert, Ada lived with her grandfather Thomas Carter and two of his sons as a domestic at their farm in Appleton Wiske. She was born in Yarm and lived with her mother Elizabeth Johnson (nee Carter) and John Johnson in West Row.
